Museum in Kopčany
The museum and its exhibition is located in the premises of a former renovated chapel on the ground floor of the former imperial stud farm, one of the most interesting historical buildings of Kopčany village. The exhibition was created in the framework of a cross-border project. The focal point is the history of the village, archaeological research in the village and its results, especially the research of the Church of St. Margaret of Antioch – the oldest church not only in Slovakia, but also in Central Europe. Other part of the exhibition is dedicated to prominent figures – the Cobors, the Habsburgs and Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk.
